Once upon a time it was January 2021, and then all of a sudden it was July 2021. The End.
Forgive the dramatics, but as I write today’s post it’s really hit me – we’ve done a whole 6 months of the year and your girl still has so many things to get done! #LordTakeTheWheel
Well, that aside, you may (or may not) have noticed that last month I skipped the Made it Monthly round up
Because everything I loved from the previous month (Aprils Made it Monthly) was what I found myself running back to over and over again.
But of course, you already know by the title of this post that that streak has come to an end, and a few new products managed to make it on to my radar in June, so let’s get into it.
Every Girls Dream Jewellery Organiser
With my growing jewellery collection coming along nicely, I found myself a little frustrated by the organised chaos and multiple jewellery boxes I was using to house my peices. In fact let me be honest, calling my previous storage solutions ‘jewellery boxes’ is the ultimate definition of being catfished, I had a whole ratchet setup going on and it really wasn’t cute!
So, of course it made sense to treat myself to my very first jewellery organiser, and my goodness isn’t she beautiful?
The best part about this jewellery organiser is that it’s also a layering system, meaning if your collection is relatively small and you don’t need an entire multi layered jewellery box, you can start off small with just one layer and add additional layers as your collection grows.
The Loungewear Set 72 Of You Bought
In this Instagram caption I let you guys in on the fact that I’m a great bargain hunter, so when a loungewear set that I’ve had my eyes on went on sale and down from £80 to £10, it would have been criminal of me not to share!
Well, 72 of you clearly loved it just as much as I do and went on to buy it, and receiving photos of you in your outfits via my Instagram DMs was definitely a highlight of the month. That alongside the fact that the loungewear set is still available! At least for now #rundontwalk
For sizing reference I opted for the size S/M. I’m a UK size 6 – 8 and 5ft 5in. The set has some stretch to it and will be worn a million times by me this autumn/winter – don’t say I didn’t warn you!

New Natural Hair Staple
When a good friend of mine with beautiful natural hair shared her love for the Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector I knew I had to give it a try. Coined as the ‘bond builder’; without being a protein treatment, this product has grown quite the fan base within the hair care community and natural hair care community too.
So far I’ve used the Hair Perfector twice and noticed the difference it made to my wash day and overall hair health pretty much instantly.
Having played with my hair and tried hundreds of products over the years, I’ve come to learn quite quickly the products my hair loves and doesn’t, and this has quickly earned its place as a hair care favourite. Check out this video for a great description of exactly what the Hair Perfector does.
And that’s it, a short and sweet round up from me this month, but based on the goodies that I just got in, July’s round up should be a treat!
Till then, here’s to the second half of the year and finishing stronger than we started.
