Why hello there new series! In celebration of the fact that I have now started weekly vlogging, I thought what better than to also do a weekly check-in on the blog, where I can share what I’ve been getting up to, and things that have helped me get through the week in one piece! I also know that some of you aren’t on Instagram, so I’ll also be sharing some of my Instagram posts from the week, and the stories behind them.
I turned 28 yesterday, and promised myself that I would swap my everyday pair of jeans, for a dress, and actually make an effort to celebrate myself. In a way I wanted to celebrate leaving 27 behind, because God knows that I could not wait to be done with it! If there ever was a better way to define ‘adulting’, 27 was it!
When people ask how myself and hubby survived our first year of marriage, I often feel bad about the response I give, because I feel like it’s not what they want to hear! Leading up to marriage many couples are warned about the challenges the first year may bring, and told to be patient with one another as they learn to navigate this new journey. Well, that wasn’t the case for us. View Post
I don’t know about you, but any blog post that starts off with a delicious photo of food, is one that I’m more than happy to read! The photo above features my favourite British dish, some good old Fish ’n’ Chips, which I had the pleasure of consuming a few weeks back, whilst on my second walking food tour with Eating London Tours. Two weeks ago I posted the photo you can see above on Instagram. I had my older sister around and we spent the afternoon together, cooking, laughing and being silly as usual! We were both craving a little something sweet, so decided to whip up a bowl of Puff Puff. I shared the process on Instagram, and let’s just say the love was real! So many of you asked for my recipe, and I promised you exactly that!
Puff Puff is very easy to make, and is the ultimate definition of delicious! Definitely a winner if you’re hosting guests, but beware this stuff is addictive, and should be consumed with caution!
Here is exactly how I make it…
