No doubt one of the most difficult things I’ve had to share during my blogging journey, but it had to be done.
I recently experienced my first major setback since starting my healthy hair journey seven years ago. I promised myself that once I had figured out what had caused me to lose handfuls of hair during wash day, I would share a video on my channel to help those who may be going through something similar.
Below are three videos sharing… View Post
It’s been a while hasn’t it? If you follow me on Instagram you’ll already know I recently took some time out to recharge. Initially my ‘time out’ involved little to no recharging at all, in fact I was all up in my feelings for the most part, and simply put… an emotional wreck! Fortunately for me, being married and not living by myself, means that if there’s ever a time I’m not feeling my best, my Husband steps in and helps me get back on track.
Now for those wondering what caused my mini breakdown, View Post
Two years ago I hosted my very first protective style challenge. I wanted to speed up my hair growth in time for my wedding, and decided to follow through on four things that I believed would help me achieve longer hair.
One of the things I did was drink a smoothie a day. I was well aware of the impact of nutrition on the health of my hair, and decided that taking smoothies was one of the easiest ways for me to get a tonne of vitamins, nutrients and minerals, in just one drink. The results? Take a look for yourself
Two years later smoothies remain an important part of my daily routine, and I do my very best to ensure I take one a day. I’ve gone back and forth with different smoothie recipes but three in particular are always on repeat.
If one of your goals for the year is to see your hair grow in health and length, smoothies can make all of the difference. The three I’m sharing today are oozing with nutritious goodness and taste so freaking good!

How is it almost March already? I feel like February came and went in just a couple of days!
You may remember at the end of January I shared on my decision to spend more money on clothes, with the hopes of saving more money in the long run. This was a decision that came about after my epic wardrobe malfunction in December (I still can’t believe I allowed that to happen!)

Ever since my wardrobe malfunction in December, I’ve been working on building my brand new signature wardrobe. I’ve created a list of items I think every woman needs in her closet [post on this to come], and every month I’ll be adding new and fabulous pieces from this list to my collection.
In today’s post, I thought I’d share on my very special January pay-day treat! View Post
